The Site Design Process
- Email or call me to set up a free consultation, at which point you will be given a quote based on your choice of a Custom or Standard package.
- Pay 50% of the total as a down payment on the job.
- Design process will start. Site will be perfected and revised until the original vision is acheived.
- Final Approval. Pay the remaining 50% and your domain will be registered, and the site will be put online.
What about Updates and Changes?
Once your site is finalized and put online you probably want to update it and make changes over time.
- Option One is to hire me as your webmaster, and everytime you need a change or update, you email me what needs to be changed and I update it within one business day. I charge $50 per month for this service. If you feel that your updates will be relatively few, I can do them at a flat rate of $20 per updating session (One session would include all the updates wanted for the entire site.) Major changes such as adding new pages or completely redoing sections of the site will be billed at the package rate.
- Option Two is free and that is to update it yourself. If you have knowledge of HTML and CSS, thats great. You will have full access to your sites files and can do with them as you wish. If you don't know anything about code and do not care to learn, don't worry, I have tried to make updating as quick and painless as possible, even for people with little or no technical knowledge beyond basic word-processing. I will set up a CMS (Content Management System) for free and show you how to use it. With this CMS installed, you will be able to update your sites content just as you would a regular document, and the best part is, you can do it right in your web browser!
